Terms of Use
Last updated: 24 October 2026
These terms govern your access to and use of Tahaani, a community-based, Guardian-moderated matrimonial service operated by ITPROSERVE. They cover the public website, the VIP waitlist, and the marriage request form today, and the member platform and mobile applications when they launch (together, the “service”). Some sections describe features that are planned but not yet live; those sections will apply when the features are released.
1. These terms
By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our privacy notice, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
“Tahaani”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to ITPROSERVE. “You” means the person using the service, including a Member, Guardian, or visitor.
Where these terms refer to features that are not yet live, those terms will apply when the features are released. We will publish any additional terms that apply to a specific feature before you use it.
2. Who may use the service
To use Tahaani, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if that is higher.
- Be seeking marriage in good faith and be legally eligible to marry.
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Not have been previously banned from the service.
- Comply with these terms and all applicable laws.
Tahaani welcomes practising Muslims of all ethnic backgrounds. Availability may vary by region and by the stage of our launch.
If you submit a marriage request on behalf of another person as a Guardian or Wali, you confirm that you have their authority to share their information, that they are at least 18, and that they consent to the submission.
3. Accounts and the Guardian requirement
When the member platform launches, accounts will be reviewed by Moderators and will remain inactive until approved. Each Member must name a Guardian who also registers and provides consent.
- One account per person; duplicate accounts are prohibited.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
- Profile updates may require Moderator approval before they take effect.
- We may decline, suspend, or close an account if information is inaccurate, if approval conditions are not met, or if you breach these terms.
4. Roles and permissions
Different people play different roles on Tahaani:
- Member — creates a profile, initiates or receives Requests for Connection, and uses community features.
- Guardian (Wali) — supports a Member, views their Requests for Connection, and approves or rejects them.
- Moderator — reviews profiles, photographs, and Requests for Connection, and enforces our guidelines.
- Admin — oversees the platform, manages Moderators, configures settings, and handles escalations.
- Marriage Counselor — provides guidance and educational support.
We may change permissions as the service develops. We will explain any change that materially affects your use of the service.
5. What the service does
Tahaani is a community-based matrimonial platform — not a traditional dating site. The public site introduces Tahaani and allows adults to join the VIP waitlist or submit a marriage request. The member platform is planned to provide:
- Profiles with public and private sections and Guardian oversight.
- Matching and search that honour our visibility rules.
- The Request for Connection (RFC) workflow.
- Human moderation and community guidelines.
- Educational content, including blogs, Q&A, and seminars, and Marriage Counselor support.
- Optional paid features, which will be described before you are asked to pay.
A marriage request is a request to be contacted about Tahaani's process. It is not an offer of marriage, a matchmaking guarantee, a background check, or a legally binding agreement to introduce you to anyone. You may add one optional photograph to a marriage request; it is used only to review that request, is not a profile photograph, and is never published.
We review requests personally. We may ask for more information, decline a request, or close a request if it appears incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, or inconsistent with these terms.
6. Request for Connection (RFC) rules
A Request for Connection (“RFC”) is the formal way to express interest through Tahaani. The following rules apply:
- An RFC may be initiated by a Member or a Guardian.
- Only one RFC may be active at a time. Additional limits — currently up to 30 RFCs per month and 5 per day — may apply and will be shown in the product.
- Each RFC is routed to the assigned Moderator for review.
- The Guardians of both parties must approve.
- The recipient is expected to respond within the response window shown in the product, normally 24–48 hours.
- On approval, the private profile sections of each party are unlocked for 2 days. After that period they are hidden again.
- Live chat becomes available only after mutual approval and Guardian consent.
- Statuses include in progress, pending, approved, rejected, cancelled, completed, and suspended.
- RFCs are confidential, and restrictions may apply while an RFC is active.
- You may not use RFCs to harass, pressure, or repeatedly contact someone who has declined.
We may suspend RFC privileges or take other moderation action if you misuse the process.
7. Profiles, photos, and conduct
You are responsible for the content you publish and for how you conduct yourself on Tahaani.
- Photographs must show modest, appropriate attire, and you may upload up to six photographs.
- A photograph added to a marriage request is optional, limited to one image, and used only to review that request. It is not a profile photograph and is never published.
- Photographs are reviewed by Moderators before publication. We may remove photographs that do not meet our standards.
- You may not browse same-gender profiles; you can view only the public sections of opposite-gender profiles.
- Conduct yourself respectfully and in good faith at all times.
- Do not harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate anyone.
- Do not post false, misleading, or impersonating information.
- Do not use the service for commercial solicitation, spam, or unauthorised advertising.
- Do not share another person's private information without their consent.
- Do not post illegal content or content that infringes another person's rights.
- Do not scrape, probe, overload, or interfere with the service or its security features.
8. Your content and licence
You retain ownership of the content you create. By posting content, you grant Tahaani a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, display within the community, and distribute your content as necessary to operate the features you use, including moderation, search, and delivery to Members.
This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where we need to retain it for backups, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or the safety of others.
You represent and warrant that you own or control the rights to your content, that it does not infringe any third-party right, and that it complies with these terms and applicable law. We may remove content at our discretion.
9. Privacy and sensitive information
Our privacy notice explains what we collect and how we use it. Some fields, such as religious practice and marital status, may reveal sensitive information. By submitting those fields, you give explicit consent to their use for the purposes described in the privacy notice. Optional preference fields may be left blank.
You are responsible for ensuring that any information you submit about another person, including a Member you represent as a Guardian, is shared with their authority and consent.
10. No guarantee of a match
Tahaani does not guarantee that you will receive an invitation, be matched, or find a spouse. We do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by any person, and you should take appropriate steps to verify information and involve your family or Guardian before taking any significant step. Tahaani is not a party to any marriage or agreement between users.
11. Intellectual property and copyright complaints
The service, the “Tahaani” name and logo, and our content are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view the service for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use our brand or content without written permission, except as allowed by law.
Copyright complaints. If you believe content on the service infringes your copyright, email hello@tahaani.com with the subject “Copyright complaint” and include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The location of the material you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will review notices and respond as required by applicable law, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act where it applies. We may remove or disable access to material and may terminate repeat infringers.
12. Moderation and enforcement
We and our Moderators may, at our discretion:
- Remove or restrict content.
- Issue warnings.
- Restrict access to features, including RFCs.
- Suspend or terminate accounts.
- Preserve information and report illegal activity to law enforcement or cooperate with lawful requests.
We aim to apply these rules consistently, but we do not guarantee that every breach will be detected or actioned. If you want to ask for a review of a moderation decision, contact hello@tahaani.com.
13. Fees and paid features
Joining the VIP waitlist and submitting a marriage request through the public site are free.
Some features of the member platform may be paid. Before you are asked to pay, we will show the price, billing period, what is included, whether the subscription renews, and how to cancel. You will not be charged unless you confirm the purchase.
- Payments are processed by our payment processor. By providing payment information, you authorise the charge shown at checkout.
- Prices may change with advance notice. A change will not affect a paid term that has already started.
- Refunds and cancellation are available as shown at purchase and as required by mandatory consumer law. Nothing in these terms limits a statutory right you have.
- You are responsible for applicable sales, use, and similar taxes.
- Any pre-launch benefits described on the site are subject to the conditions shown there.
14. Third-party services
The service uses third-party providers, including Cloudflare for hosting, storage, security, and email delivery, email and SMS delivery providers, a payment processor for paid features, and app stores where you download our applications. Those providers may have their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control, but we remain responsible for how we use your personal information.
15. Availability and changes to the service
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of it, including the waitlist, request form, or member platform, at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will take reasonable steps to tell you before it takes effect. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms. Where the law requires your consent, we will ask for it.
16. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant the accuracy of information provided by users, uninterrupted access, or any particular result from using the service.
No guarantee of results. We do not guarantee that you will be matched, introduced, or married, or that any particular outcome will result from using the service. Tahaani is not a party to any marriage or agreement between users.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
17. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tahaani and ITPROSERVE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, opportunity, or data, arising from your use of the service, even if we were advised of the possibility.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of mandatory rights under the law of your country of residence.
18. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tahaani, ITPROSERVE, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party right.
This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim arises from our negligence, wilful misconduct, or breach of these terms. We will notify you of any claim and may ask you to cooperate in the defence.
19. Term and termination
- These terms remain in effect while you use the service or hold an account.
- You may delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate access for breach, illegal activity, security risk, or extended inactivity.
- On termination, the licences you granted end and your content may be deleted or anonymised, subject to backups and legal retention.
- Sections that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and general provisions — will survive.
20. Governing law and disputes
Informal resolution. Before filing a claim, contact hello@tahaani.com. We will try in good faith to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
Governing law and venue. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any action must be brought in a state or federal court located in Missouri, and you submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Consumer rights. If mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts or to rely on other protections, nothing in these terms takes that right away.
21. General provisions
- Headings are for convenience only; “including” means “including without limitation”.
- These terms and the privacy notice are the entire agreement between you and Tahaani.
- If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remainder stays in effect.
- Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
- You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of assets.
- We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- Notices to us must be in writing to hello@tahaani.com; notices from us may be delivered in the service, by email, or by SMS.
- You consent to electronic communications and signatures.
- English is the controlling language of these terms.
